Get Involved

Join a working group, propose an RFC, or contribute to a project — SADT is built for two different kinds of people, and the right first step depends on which one you are.

If you're an individual — a Syrian tech expert, freelancer, or diaspora professional

  1. Sign up for a free account and fill in your profile — your skills, country and availability, so other members can find you.
  2. Browse Groups and RFCs for something already in motion that matches what you know, or start a conversation of your own in the forum if you don't see one yet.
  3. Use Participate on any group or project page that fits your skills — the lead will follow up directly.
  4. If you'd rather be found than search, turn on directory visibility in your account settings so you show up in the Members directory.

If you're an institution — a VC, NGO, or tech hub

SADT connects vetted local initiatives, talent and research to partners who want their support to actually land. Use the contact form and select Partnership as the topic — tell us briefly what you're looking to support (funding, mentorship, technical resources, or something else) and the team will follow up.

Not sure where to start?

Read the Research pages first. They're the fastest way to understand what's actually happening in Syria's digital transformation before you decide where you want to plug in.
